Top of Form
We are excited to be part of this important event that brings together experts, advocates, and community members to raise awareness and provide valuable resources for dementia care.
At our stall, you will have the opportunity to meet experienced team members, who will be available to answer questions and provide information on Dementia Care at Leigh Place, including our person-centred approach that ensures every resident receives tailored support based on their individual needs.
Experience Our Sensory Room
One of the highlights of the Expo is our involvement in the Sensory Room, a space designed to provide calming and stimulating sensory experiences for individuals living with dementia. We are proud to have partnered with the University of New South Wales (UNSW) to integrate cutting-edge technologies into the Sensory Room, which includes interactive displays, soothing sounds, and therapeutic lighting. These technologies are proven to enhance well-being and reduce anxiety for those with dementia.
Join Us in Raising Awareness
The Dementia Alliance Expo is a great opportunity to learn more about dementia and discover how we, as a community, can support those living with this condition. Whether you’re a caregiver, a healthcare professional, or someone who wants to make a difference, this event offers a wealth of knowledge and insight.
We can’t wait to see you there! Be sure to stop by our stall, explore the Sensory Room, and say hello. Together, we can make a positive impact in the lives of those living with dementia.
